Online Safety (e-safety)

At Foreland Fields School, Online Safety is an important part of our safeguarding procedures.  As part of our safeguarding training we ensure that staff regularly receives updates regarding online safety procedure.  We make sure that pupils are educated about online safety through the computing curriculum and when using computers in any context across the school.  Every classroom has the schools online safety guidance displayed, which serves as a guide for pupils and for staff.

There are annual online safety events for pupils, as well as online safety workshops for parents.  The details of these workshops, as well as online safety tips are published in the school newsletters.

As part of our online safety policy we ask all pupils and parents to read and sign the schools acceptable use policy.

The links and downloadable documents below provide advice and support regarding a wide range of matters relating to online safety.
