The school has a new logo which is now incorporated into all uniform purchased from the uniform shop (address below).
We understand that uniform can be quite costly therefore are happy that pupils and students wear uniform with the old 'The Foreland School' logo until such time as it needs replacing.
School uniform can be purchased at:
National Schoolwear Centre
56 Addington Street
The uniform consists of a burgundy sweatshirt, burgundy t-shirt and black trousers or skirt. A fleece is also available. The school prefers pupils to wear school uniform but does understand that some variation is helpful in order to meet certain needs e.g. jogging bottoms rather than traditional school trousers and cheaper plain white polo shirts for those who require frequent changes.
We ask that parents provide clearly named clothing. A change of clothing for children who may wet or soil themselves is always useful and warm clothing for children who make long journeys in winter is also, of course, essential.
Children of all ages need a basic P.E. kit and pupils may need clothing for more specific activities from time to time e.g. Wellington boots for a farm trip — specific details will be provided by class / department teams.
Children who wear incontinence pads should be sent in to school with a stock of spares. Parents of children with disabilities can obtain free incontinence pads through the local Health Authority and the School Nurse Assistant will advise and liaise on any related issues.
